I dont belive those people who claim:
That they have been kidnapped by aliens or seen aliens, there are thousands of them.
Have seen ghosts or/and other supernatural being.
That they have seen the locness monster
etc.
Why do not believe those ppl and your friend? Because i know humans can: have halucinations, imagine things, make stuff up and straight out lie among other things. The most rational thing to do is to dismiss those claims unless provided with further evidence.

Of course we dismiss testimonials of theists when they say they see Jesus or God. At the same time WE don't want to see him, YOU do. You said that even if God appeared to us, we would just hock it up to an hallucination, or something of the such, because we don't want to see him. Theists would then at the same time want to see him, and therefore believe that it is him. Funny how there are millions of theist testimonials to seeing God or Jesus. Take the needle out of your arm.

I also think it would have been interesting if the girl would have bothered to have given a description. More than likely that description would have included your ideal image of Jesus thus proving that it could have easily have been a hallucination.

Of course we get the point. The point is Patrick is a total hypocrite. He dismisses off hand the claimed appearances of dozens of Gods to millions of OTHER people. Furthermore if God really did appear to me several times in front of several people while everyone was in a normal state that would in fact be sufficient evidence.

Then you conclude that we would reject an appearance off hand. You dont actually know this is true you are just assuming this. This whole video is completely misleading.

This video is flawed from top to bottom. Of course we dont believe Jesus really appeared to her. First, we notice that the person telling this story isnt the person who actually had the experience. Second, we notice that the person telling the story has an agenda that would make this story very useful. Third, we notice that in the story the person is in a sort of half awake state. Fourth, it is rather obvious that you reject the appearances of other deities to people of other religions.

You dont need to be a mathematician to calculate and you dont have to be a biologist to have sex. The point is looking at it from a statistical point of view and interpret the numbers and realise what they mean.

If you cant understand what the numbers mean, dont use them.
