This was made at Jungle Training Centre located at Canungra - Queensland. I was stationed at JTC at the time of the filming, got to meet a few of the actors. During the Vietnam conflict every Aussie Soldier done training at JWC before being shipped of to Vietnam. Ex-Aussie Digger (LEST WE FORGET)

The music and this compilation make the movie look like it is a comedy. Hardly.

First saw it in '82 when it was screened on BBC-2.Just about the best war film I've ever seen.
BTW ,who sang the film's closing song 'Who cares anyway' and could someone please upload it? Thanks

I first saw this movie in '85 n' remember thinking Graham had quite a gut on him for an Infantryman,,,BUT it was a dayumed fine movie!!!
