And yes, that's Hanson singing the Star Spangled Banner. Their voices had deepend by this point and didn't sound much like the "Mmboppers" of the previous years.

great team..back then. but i think the usa women's team has a bit more talent playing at the world cup in germany right now. thank's to the past..the future looks bright.

i can't believe its been 13 years. wth?! I remember I was 12 and watching this and I was SO EXICTED!!!!!!!! This team got me into soccer and omg the women's national team just isn't the same with all these great players.

The '99 Women's World Cup is one of the best competitions in sports I ever witnessed. Me and my father watched the whole game live, and didn't move from our seats (and he's not even a soccer fan!). From the opening kick to the final PK, the contest was hard fought. In the end, our ladies reigned supreme. Damn, that was an incredible match!
