Luc Bourdon was a top defensive prospect on the edge of making the vancouver canucks as a full time player. As a 10th overall pick in 2005 he was always under tremendous pressure, but managed flourish. On thursday May 29th 2008, around noon ET,the 21 year old Luc lost control of his motorcycle, and hit a tractor trailer. This death was the fault of no one's. No alcohol was involved. In honor of Luc Bourdon,#28, many are donating $28.00 as groups, to canuck place hospice. PLEASE JOIN IN IF YOU CAN. Thank you, and forever rest in peace Luc Bourdon.

I am still so choked..I cant believe it was Luc, our Vancouver Defenceman luc..but then he was also just a young man, who had a lot of love for life...He made a huge impact in a lot peoples lives..& I cannot even imagine how his Mother and GF and the rest of his family and friends feel..A great guy who I got the pleasure of meeting..Til we meet again luc..you are missed! Luc I still miss you and I'm sure all of Vancouver does. It's hard to believe you left us. You were an amazing hockey player and you will forever be in our hearts!!
