Peacock display (3/07/09), San Diego Zoo

Arrived at the zoo about quarter to eleven on a beautiful March day, first stop at the flamingo lagoon... There were no other peacocks in view, but a few large flamingos came close to this peacock. That seemed to set him in motion with several repetitions of this dance. The first rendition was noisier, however, with the rear feathers creating a shirring sound.
