Definition Gallery Promo 2009

If your part of the MODERN pop, surrealist, low-brow, etc, movements of art, you probably already heard mythical stories about a gallery that once existed in Baltimore called Definition Gallery. In less than a year, this place had captured LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE. Almost every MAJOR NAME in the current art world had been part of INCREDIBLE group shows there & if not, were already booked for futures shows... I PERSONALLY had the IMMENSE pleasure & BLESSING of having my work shown with the likes of names like JUSTIN BUA, DAN MAY, SYLVIA ORTIZ, SETH MATHURIN, TIM BISKUB, MOLLY CRABAPPLE, NICHOLAS HARPER, MICHEAL OWEN, VLADAMIR KUSH, LEAH PARRENT, and the list goes on! ...Then, in mid 2009, without any previous warning or further notice to its artists or the public, the doors to Definition Gallery were suddenly closed. ALOT has been said & rumored in in the art community, in public forums & behind closed doors in the wake of the owner's voluntary disappearance. I was in the SAME sort of shock myself. What I can say is that it was a chapter in my personal & professional career as an artist that will not be forgotten. I had a blast at every event, made some strong bonds with some of the worlds most INCREDIBLE artists & walked away blessed with a few more great friends... I posted the video, NOT to promote the gallery, but instead, to promote a moment in time that will not exist again & to promote my fellow artists who fight side by side with me in this art world full of sleepless nights, empty promises & circling sharks.
