There was also a very brief time when they used a branding of "Fox 8 Is News." That didn't last long though before they changed to "Fox 8 News."

The voiceover's name is Paul Turner. He does voiceover at my local cable news channel, Bay News 9.

I think I liked this music the best out of all the news themes Fox 8 has had. The graphics were pretty bland, but the music was great. I was mad when they changed it, lol.

The open at 1:04 is so cheaply done. There was a brief two-week period when it was formally called "Fox 8 IS News," and actually had a nicely done open in retrospect. Then the "IS" was dropped, and... we got this.
