You mean by staying on well established fire roads and not taking the easy way around by detouring through the forest? Fire roads established to contain fires so hypocrites like you don't bitch when an ecosystem designed to burn regularly threatens to take your house out? Fire roads that in total area take up a fraction of a percent of the 1 million + sq acres of untouched pine barrens? Think before you speak.
