Um....Um, . See this happens when folks follow others, No way would I have a umbrella open in the house of worship, 1..I want the rain to fall on me.......2 All the gimmicks are not needed. 3. I find this weird, you want it to rain, but you do not want to get wet. Ok, then you dont want it to rain, because you do not want to get wet. Help us Lord, next time Im in the D, I will be visiting though, I'll let you know how it goes!

Okay, I spoke to soon earlier!! Whay were ALL THEM FOLK doing with open umbrellas inside? That's symbolic of them NOT getting drenched with the blessings of God....not smart! Didn't they realize what they were doing spiritually! I wish folk would READ an actual bible sometimes!

I wanna take a stab at it and try to be an advocate...i think it was more so just for symbolism and thats it.  They had to find a way to symbolize rain, so hence...the puncho's and umbrella's. Yes we know what the purpose of those items are but like dumluva said, its just when you see umbrella, you think rain......i tried
