ALL of Cloud and Tifa's cut scenes in Kingdom Hearts II.

Q. What about KH1?
A. Tifa did not feature in KH1 due to "tight schedules". Cloud's story is essentially the same; he is lost in darkness and fights Sephiroth, but at the end of KH1 he doesn't appear to have found any light and returns to the FFVII gang in the credits seemingly unchanged.

Q. How does this fit in with FFVII?
A. Cloud's story parallels his struggle in Advent Children. "Tifa wasn't planned to appear at first. I was talking with Tetsu about what Cloud could be doing in Hallow Bastion, and we eventually moved towards him chasing after Sephiroth, but also being chased by something himself. So Cloud's really running from something but goes around pretending, saying that he's chasing Sephiroth. Then we decided to make it him running from the "something warm" like what Tifa was after in AC, " said Nojima in an interview.

Q. What's all this light/dark/part of heart stuff?
A. "If Cloud's darkness is Sephiroth, then Tifa is light" according to Nomura. Characters within the Kingdom Hearts series are composed of three parts: body, soul, and heart. The heart gives them emotion, light, and darkness. When darkness consumes a character's heart, they become corrupted and turn into Heartless. So, if Tifa was "snuffed out" Cloud would probably become a Heartless.

Q. So Tifa and Sephiroth aren't human/real?
A. No. "You can take it that Tifa isn't really human," said Nomura in an interview.

Q. What's Aerith in all this?
A. Nojima: In my opinion, Aerith doesn't really belong to either light or darkness. Kind of like, she's in another world and can go to either if she wants to. She's independent, not steeped in either light or darkness. To put it another way, she's the most stable, having both light and darkness.

@ElectronicStar24 As hilarious as it is claiming that SE said that C/A is canon, one has to wonder why you ask a question like "why aren't they (C/t) together?"

You would think them living together and eventually adopting would count. But alas i guess not.

No matter what you clotis say it doesn't change the fact that Cloud doesn't and won't ever love Tifa. I don't just mean KH but VII and compilation too. When Cloud loves Tifa then why aren't they together? Why is he mean to Tifa and kind to Aerith? Because he loves Aerith. And SE said that Cloud and Aerith are the canon pair, so cloti won't have a chance. Just look at the facts once! I get sick of arguing with you damn clotis! >.<**

@ElectronicStar24 Tifa's light doesn't blind him. Think about it this way: Cloud is shrouded in darkness, consumed by the guilt and fear and horror in his past. Sephiroth represents that. He's been locked in a dark room with no windows. He runs from Tifa because he's ashamed and fears hurting her. Cloud seems blinded by Tifa's light because he is unaccustomed to it. Being pulled out of total darkness and thrust into bring light would blind anyone. But it's just what he needed.

@ElectronicStar24 How hard is it to understand Sephiroth taunting Cloud with being unable to handle the light of the present because he has embraced the darkness of his past? And that while this is going on Tifa's presence is causing flashes of light around Cloud that he is having trouble dealing with?

It's almost like Sephy is Cloud's darkness and Tifa is his light. *gasp*

Also this whole inner/outer light BS was pulled out of some C/A shippers ass well after KH2 came out.
