Dingdong! Takes a look at how to build CNB's Compact Minecart Station. It's my version of a station in a box, including; track selection, lights, sounds + departures and arrivals. This all fits into a nice compact, easy to build unit.

As stated in the video south facing stations need a slightly different logic gate setup, I will be uploading a follow up tutorial shortly!

You can check out my other redstone tutorials on my youtube channel www.youtube.com/cnbminecraft

  • Where are you from? I've never heard your accent before XD

  • here from generikB!

  • @DJxGamerr Thanks for the info matey. :)

  • @trenchhopper There is someone on youtube who is called: 777static777 he has a tutorial on a 1 wide selection system with the reset line you want, but the minecart tracks are not included in that tutorial, you can also look at someone called: GenerikB he has just uploaded LP episode 20 where he makes a minecart system, it's not very compact though

  • @MultiToombs Read the description :P

  • @DJxGamerr Hey. :) Yeah, I get that bit, but what I'd like is to press button 1 then button 2 or button 4 or button 7 one after the other and the redstone itself would 'reset' the previous selections and always stay with the last selection made (which would be button 7 in my example). Currently in this system if you select line 1 then change your mind before going anywhere you have to hit reset. I want to do away with the manual reset and have it automagically do it for me.

  • hokydoky

  • @trenchhopper That is possible, but then you should be in the cart abd the button should have to power the track, because otherwise if you would choose a location, your cart would ride away without you :D

  • So, since the cart on the way out resets the selection is it possible for the buttons themselves to automatically reset? So user1 picks track 1 and without manually pushing reset or riding carts over automatic reset on the line, user1 then pushes button for track 4 at which point it would reset the previous choice and go with the new? It'd remove the need for manual reset and give an extra destination.

  • isubbed. youdnt get many tutorials better than this, also, icopied and expanded, thanks mate!
