dj has mild right hemiplegia.

My son was diagnosed at 11 months (but suspected at 8 months old) with mild right hemiplegia with an MRI. It is looking good with no siezures,and hopefully none will happen, i guess wait and see, but I have a good feeling he wont have any other problems medically. Just more work with doing things like in this clip and others I show on here for other parents that are curious of how there baby will be doing things.. ofcourse all of these champs do things different, but this is my son we are so proud of. as you can see!

it happened at around 13 wks in utero. Started to notice he wasn't using his right hand around 4 months or so.

Good boy!!! Love ya work guys I wish social networking was around when I was a kid growing up with hp. I have it in my left side and my hand and even my foot copy like that too. it feels strange even now when I'm 28 and don't know any different. try to encourage him to incorporate his right hand for gross motor movements even if holding the bottle under his arm makes it easier keep smiling champ you will kill it with the ladies with a smile and charm like that!!!!

im 18, i have mild Hp too. This video means alot to me. it made me happy that you talked about how proud u are of him. i live a completley normal life now, thanks to my parents. keep working with him and he'll be good. Thank you
