I want to go now! Haha and I will see if I can get like a tour of the barn or something and take videos and pictures as proof these horses are treated well because I have been riding horses for a loooong time now, and most of these horses didn't look abused or cruely treated. I admit, the rearing dapple grey horse did look angry, but it looked well cared for as with the rest of the horses.

I don't doubt that the horses are treated very well. But you have to pay $10 extra per ticket to get that 'tour' to prove it.
And even if the tickets specifically include the animal barn, it's only open from May-October. But the bird show, now listed for May-Oct, actually was included in early 2011 when we went.

I worked for this show for nearly two years. These animals are treated probably better than your animals at home. The horses love their job, and believe me if they didn't want to do it, they simply wouldn't. Ask the Dana, the owner of the park and she will take you behind the scenes to see it all. Or better yet Volunteer at the park, they are always in need of interns and volunteers. :)

Unlike the other comments here that are totally bogus and written by employees, we did enjoy the birds and horses. My kids enjoyed the baby animals too.

@firestonegraywolf I did an internship here, and the horses are VERY well cared for and enjoy their jobs.

how long is the show?

You most not know anything about horses. I have talked to the owner and they would like to take you on a personal tour to show that these horses are treated better than most peoples children.
@firestonegraywolf - Clearly you've never dealt with a 1000lb animal that really didn't want to do something. These horses are at liberty during this show. If they didn't want to do something, all they have to do is not do it. Any of those horses could easily jump the barrier or just run away from the trainer until the doors open.
If you want to encourage other humans to work against cruelty towards animals - focus on real cruelty, not clean performances like these.

We went to see this in June and both the dancing horses and the parrot shows were fabulous! Unfortunately it stormed so we didn't get to see more of the great features.
