I hit a record 3.46 amps into my 4-wheeler battery in about 12 mph winds, which makes roughly 43 watts, depending on what the battery voltage was, maybe even as high as 45 watts. RPM should of been around 400-500 rpm, with a no load voltage of about 15-20 volts at that wind speed by my estimation.
50" diameter and it is quite unbalanced at this point as there was no attempt to balance it when I made it 4 weeks ago.

  • @crsbt My windmill never charged very much. Even on a really windy day, it might be charging 25% of the time. A treadmill motor with a lower rpm / volt ratio would help. Mine was 33 rpm/v, which was too high. 15- 20 rpm/v would be much better.

  • im getting upto 4.8 amps on my treadmill turbine but its only in high winds and its never constant normally about 1 or 2 amps at best, its seems good to watch though my amp..volt meters but in real life the batterys arnt being charged much at all,as its starting and stopping all the time

i get a steady 17 v all day long with just one 5w solar panel which seems to charge the batterys more than the wind.

maybe im doing something wrong,i dont know.
