If Rush were so disconnected as you contend, then 40 million listeners must be wasting their time. Nanny Olberman has made his living off Rush (HE TALKS ABOUT HIM EVERYDAY!) but has no ratings and gets paid a small fraction of what Rush earns. K.O. looks so lonely and bleak.

I'm unsure of what the political point is. Is it to pit the people of the US against each other? Or to make the American people feel a way that they don't feel? Despite the very few after Katrina that I encountered who said horrible things, the majority of people I met had pure compassion for us, and it proves that the American people are kind and caring.

Also FEMA/ National Guard did not wait 5 days and block others from assisting the survivors while the "refugees" in New Oleans were left to DIE.
