FFIV Boss #6 - Scarmiglione

Ok, well this is a bloody easy battle until phaze 2...


Phaze 1: Scarmiglione, cloaked, and alongside him are 4 Skullnants.

Have Cecil use Dark, Palom cast Fira on all enemies, Porom heal, and Tellah either heal or cast fire. Once the skullnants are out of the way, hit Scarmiglione with all you've got.

Phaze 2: After walking across the bridge, Scarmiglione comes back for another fight, this time in his true form.

Scarmiglione will attack you from behind, giving him the first turn.

He will start the battle off with Song of Curse, which rarely does anything to anyone... I'm not even sure of what it does, but it should be of no concern. Each time he hits a party member with a physical attack, it will poison them, so make sure you have antidotes.

Have Cecil attack, Palom cast Fira, Tellah cast fire, and Porom cast Cura on SCARMIGLIONE, since he is now undead, and is weak to cure spells. I didn't do this, because It wasn't really worth it; I wanted to keep some MP for healing the party.

I just did this fight a couple days ago in the DS remake. It was just as difficult then.
