'Military pressure line on Iran had failed'

Iran has agreed to a draft deal on shipping out most of its enriched uranium to Russia, where it will be further enriched - but not to weapons' grade.
It was the united stance of the international community and its emphasis on diplomacy that convinced Iran to accept the new deal.
That's according to Konstantin Kosachev, head of the Foreign Affairs committee of the Russian State Duma.

It would take more time to get money to Iran than hooking up into existing infrastructure of Russia. Iran and Russia are long time partners and trust is at place. This is why Iranians agreed to enrich the uranium in Russia.
