Idiot cuts off fingers with mitre saw

DIY Dan shows you how NOT to do DIY! Mitre saw accident by not taking safety precautions when using power tools.

In this scene we used Adobe Photoshop to create the fingers and Mocha in After Effects to track them onto the hand.
In this exercise we actually was trying to come away from using After Effects and see how much we could do using a traditional method of effects... like fake blood!

@MazterK3vino Hi firend, the video is a joke and the hand is not plastic but thanks for the observation. The hand itself is real. The fake part of this video is where the fingers have been chopped off by the mitre saw. For this we took some photos of frozen chicken thighs and chicken skin and meat and created the image to look like bones and meat on the severed fingers. Using Mocha and after fx we tracked the fake image to the real hand. We also used fake blood on the live footage.
