Unidentified Advance, MO Animal

Residents of the small SE MO town of Advance have seen an unidentified animal. A local policeman took a video of the animal on June 17, 2007 from several hundred feet away.

I just bought a Silver 2005 Police Cruiser that belonged to your town of Advance. I hope you didn't treat it too badly...it's in my driveway in Sevierville, Tn. now lol

Lol sooooooooo which one of our cops got this on vid? That is a cat! :-D OMG! only one of our cops could've did somethin like this. This makes me feel bad....... Im from the same town as the cop that cant tell that's a cat :-( do they let anyone be a cop? Here they do lol

At 1:55 the thing's height can be determined by comparing to the size of the headlight on the old truck. The headlight is 7 inches tall. With the bezel the headlight is 10" tall. This animal is over twice the height of the headlamp. This determines the animal is at least 15" tall and not more than 20". Most likely it is 18" tall. Cats stop to look. Cats put their rear foot in the track of the front as they walk. This is an 18" tall species of cat it appears.
