His name is Argile. I have a long flourecent UVA/UVB bulb at the top left, and 3 other UVA/UVB incandecent bulbs. A full spectrum day glow bulb, and 2 black lights for 24hr heat. 1 is 100watts the other is 150watts. There's a dripper on top of the cage and it dripping down some leaves into a dish. and I have a sprayer hose in the cage aimed down the pump is outside and it makes it look like it's raining. Heat rock has temp control temp gauges for the cold end and hot end. and automatic timers for the lights. the doors slide both ways for easy access and cleaning.

  • sorry to bother you expecially because of the irrelevance of the question but, i put a black light in as the main heat source of my bearded dragons cage along with his UVB strip.hes getting some bag type marks under his eyes and i wanted to know if it was brought on by the black light, and if anything like this has ever happened to your iguana,

again sorry to bother, and verry nice cage

  • I doubt it's from the black light. But you could always try using a Ceramic Heater instead. It won't emit any light. maybe those bags under his eyes are from lack of sleep? haha..

  • what type of screen did you use i need a screen when i build my cage

  • I went to home depot and selected some screening near the "fence" material, and I sprayed it with 3 coats of this rubber spray paint stuff. It's the same rubber found on the handle's of Plyers. But your going to want to coat the wire with something. To prevent injury to your pet.

  • loose bedding is a BIGGG no no your iguana will eat it and die :-( use repticarpet or newspaper

  • Hey mass murder, if you read the other comments I replied to on here, you would have known that I already removed all the bark. and most of the fake plants to be safe also. Thanks for your concern.
