Well said. I played in John's Nova big band one semester and it was quite the experience. In a very short period I was(lol) or wanted to be a better player/musician. He makes it fun but is very serious about it as well and knows his stuff. I unfortunately had to leave town. I have only been back into music for about 4 years and it has been quite the journey even as an avocation. I think everyone has something to say musically. It changes the world. Try living without it.
