I don't think that any one of them got it wrong.
The interviewer is just seeking a clarification about allegations that the politicians are making. She is not wrong in seeking clarification. In fact, it is good that she is asking those questions because it makes all of us aware of the rights that ordinary (unelected) citizens have, as per the Constitution of India.
Murthy answered her question in a manner that indirectly hinted at the same point that I made.

The interviewer wants to drive home the point that unelected people should have no say in drafting the bill. We can forgive her for that. It is a pity is that a person of the stature of Narayan murthy fails to see and highlight a simple point that Arving Kejriwal has all along been highligting - Conflict of Interest - not a new term to the corporate world. That one point is enough to discredit the government stand on Lokpal bill.
