  • @goedeck1 You need to leave that collar on the pressure plate for 'early' transaxles or remove it for 'late' transaxles. If you put the motor in with that left on on a late transaxle you will bung up AT LEAST the centering tube on the transaxle and you won't be able to actuate the clutch.

  • @goedeck1 Correction. My pressure plate had a steel "donut" in the center of the diaphragm.

  • Is the throw out bearing that ring on the center of the diaphragm?

  • you forgot put the bushing in the middle if the clutch
