While the world is coming together to meet major global challenges like nuclear weapons proliferation and genocide, President Bush and his Senate allies have chosen to turn their focus to getting U.S. Ambassador John Bolton confirmed. This decision seems to have more to do with electoral politics and less to do with foreign policy.

Step 2: Tell other countries that they are in breach of their obligations to the broader international community by not working with the U.N. (e.g., weapons inspections).
