dude im right with you. im 15. and me and my dad are going to restore a muscle car. a car that needs a full resto is usually between 2-4000.

people are right, 5000 wnt go too far on a resto. im fifteen and i cant find a good project car for under 2000, i mean, good paint alone is like that much. and an engine rebuild would be like 1000. then theres the interior. insurance rates and gas prices too. but itll be worth it. ive been focusing a lot on firebirds though

I am doing a 70 Chevelle restoration but its a full frame off.. I spent 4K just in dipping the body to remove the rust and body work... its all clean and shiny inside and out. Please take your time and do it right... don't rush
