I love this song. I learned it on mandolin and decided to record it on my HTC EVO despite its poor microphone. To cut out some distortion, I rubber-banded a foam earplug over the mic! There's still some distortion, but I think it actually works for the song. Hope you like it.
UPDATE: For those asking me about the chords, here's some additional info. The opening notes are the two middle open strings, D and A.
Three chords in the song are all you need: D, G, A. You can Google mandolin chords, but I'll give you the voicings I used. (x = mute or don't play)
D(sus2) - 200x, or 2000
G(maj7add9) - 0002, or 0000 (all open)
A(5) - 2200
For D and G, try putting down a finger on the top two strings to play around with the sound.

@wrenglandtube It's a Fullerton Gloucester. I don't know much about them, but I'd heard good things. Pretty good sound and feel for the money, although they no longer make them. I picked one off of ebay.
