I think of Bison B.C. As one of those bands that continue the musical legacy that a band was known for. In this case, it's Mastodon's harder-edged sludge sound that they've marginalised since Crack the Skye.

I'd say this is a bit of a Mastodon rip off. I like the sound, but they could've been a little more original. What made Mastodon so cool was that when they came out no one had done that sound before.

looking at the cover, its somthin mastodon couldve used for crack the skye but this band is every bit as awesome as mastodon.
