Speed Queen washer on regular cycle, medium water level, full agitation, 710 RPM spin speed. Fill, Wash, Spin/Spray 1, Rinse, Final Spin. Cycles abreviated for time. Actual cycle was 35 minutes. Classic design and extremely reliable - purchasing a Speed Queen is like purchasing a piece of American history. Still made in the USA in Ripon, WI! Lid open for demonstration only.

  • Love that Speed Queen.

  • @estalt957 I love it too! Both sets, and now my sister has a set as well...we're going to be a Speed Queen family. My original set is still going strong 2 years later--no signs of wear at all.

  • Ok, that does it. I want one. You can have my 2009 Kenmore.

  • @ueg790 LOL - I'll keep my Speed Queens. :)

  • I also have had mine for a year. The matching drying started sqeaking after four months. It was a surface defect in the brass rollers and that assembly was replaced under warranty with one hour downtime and no furthur problems. The washer has run perfectly! I never worry about these machines or my wash anymore.

  • @TennesseeArt Great to hear that SQ took care of the issue! Many more years of service to you!

  • I've had my Speed Queen AWN412 washer and matching ADE4BR dryer for two weeks now. I'm very happy to own these machines. Only one store in our area carries them. A mom and pop operation that's been in business for 63 years. I'm proud to say I bought a USA made product from a local independent dealer. Not enough of that going on in this country. Your video helped seal the deal on my purchase.

  • @DanManTN Also, an update - had the washer/dryer over 1 1/2 years now - absolutely NO issues whatsoever, they just trudge on doing what they do best. I bought a 2nd pair for a townhouse I own...both working flawlessly. I hope you enjoy your Speed Queens when you buy them. Be sure to check out Speed Queen's website so that you can compare the home models.

  • @dlc2626 These were old clothes that couldn't possible fade anymore - I really didn't have much laundry to do when i made the video, so I rounded up whatever I had. I had intended on making another video, but this one ended up being the one that I used. I'm usually really picky on clothes sorting.

  • This a American Top Load washer. Why isn't it available for the European market?

  • What is the fabric selector switch, and do you get the same performance with the 432 model?

  • My Speed Queen set is still going strong as well. My duo will be a year old this coming week and I'm so glad I made the purchase. Speed Queen might be a little more expensive than other brands but it is worth every penny.
