I'll miss his rants. Lee Elia, Tommy Lasorda, Casey Kasem, you name it, Chuck McCord ranked with the best of them when it came to rants. The one guy on the show who ever stood up to the I-Man and survived.
Good on you Chuck, enjoy your gainful retirement, you certainly earned it!

I remember the day this aired it was a bittersweet time for me to watch Charles retire the one day and me graduating college the next day. One career ending, another career beginning. I will always remember that.

Charles is a true, old fashioned radio show host with lots of talent and a gifted voice. (By the way, I hope he sees this comment someday.) In fact, I always thought he should've been the main star of the Imus show, not Don Imus. (Sorry, no offense Don.) Happy retirement old man! (I hope someday I can retire to from a career in whatever it might be.)

The show isn't the same with Charles. Connell is just not cutting it. But, with Imus still bitching about everything still makes the show entertaining to watch and listen.
