Maybe I am wrong, but I doubt that if this band had had a Brian Epstein, or a Paul McGuinness that there would have been the slide that they eventually encountered.
I was at the concert at The Pier with a major, major babe. It was such an awesome concert! They seemed unstoppable as artists and performers. There was no deficit of talent in this band, but I feel that they did not have the best management. Sometimes being a good manager means having to say "no" to things that were too risky, too alienating, or otherwise counterproductive.
Theres a CD called Big Country Live Hits which is one of those cheaper compilations you get in the likes of Asda, which has a version which although I'm not sure if its this very version, is pretty much identical, but the sound is much beefier, and it sounds fantastic, so pick that up if you can!
