  • If the camera comes with an external camera input why don't you guys do some stuff on those, this way us guys looking can get an idea of what mic to buy for that particular camera? Just a thought...

  • @Lorddarthvader1701 It takes a huge amount of time to do each review and this one included 3 videos, we can only do so much with limited time and resources. Not sure what good it does to record the sound of wind and exhaust anyway on a motorcycle.

  • It may be subjective, but it seems to me that the Replay's video quality is just slightly better than the GoPro's. Based on image quality alone, I'd go for the XD 1080.

  • @ftpaddict It's hard to tell once it's compressed by YouTube, we studied the raw footage back and forth and it's pretty close. The GoPro seems to have a more natural exposure (less harsh) and exposes the clouds and the sky a bit better.

  • Excellent, thanks. The replay is going to be my choice. This is what i needed to make a decision.

  • @2wielen They all look better in real life than here, the YouTube compression doesn't seem to like videos with lots of movement.

  • @wbwvids If it is external you can install it in your helmet, I do that now with my Canon Vixia HD, If these camera's mount on the helmet, bike etc, the external is a huge plus, no wind just audio, the only thing is the bounce factor if the camera is mounted on the bike.

  • @Rok4s We did.

  • You should test the contourHD also.
