12 yo Lalita Introduces her Very Own Art and Unique Products Business

Hello everyone,
As is detailed in the profile section I decided to get started on this business project when my dear old friend and companion (My Piano) started to get a bit of a croaky voice and seemed to be asking to retire, or at least to have a rest for a while.

The new instrument I am planning on buying will cost quite a bit of money and, though my parents have told me they would be happy to cover that, I have made it my very own quest to earn the necessary funds myself, however long that might take. That will give me not only valuable experience but also a lot of personal satisfaction and pride in my achievement.

To that end I have enlisted a close friend who lives in my village to help with the design and production of some of the items I will have available. She almost single-handedly supports and cares for her ailing grandmother, and this project will allow her to do that more effectively whilst at the same time earning an income from home.

I thought it best to approach this in a manner that would attract little competition and as such I am concentrating on 'Unique' items that are not available anywhere else.

I asked my Dad if I could have some of a stock of original miniature paintings that he had left over from a project he had initiated many years ago, to help me get started. Of course he agreed (he never says no), but instead of giving me 'just some' he gave me the lot and told me to put my thinking cap on and to work out how to best put them to good use. I did and have lots of beautiful items in mind that I will be offering here and on my website progressively.

Anyhow, after a lot of planning and hard work and plenty of hours devoted to putting together ideas and designs here I am with the introduction to what I hope will be a long and productive experience for me. My Own Business. The goal has been set and now the only thing that lies between this launch and its fulfillment is the effort that is required and the support it ultimately receives from my friends, visitors and customers.

One third of all net earnings from commercial activity on lalitasworld.com will be dedicated to helping to support 70 orphaned and abandoned children who are presently being provided at least a form of shelter and sustenance and being given rudimentary education and training by a young man who was himself an orphan. Way to go, Lalita! I wish you all the success with your business ventures May God's blessing be with you. I'm impressed and proud of your ambitions at a young age. I started selling bunches of flowers when I was 12 years old to earn some money and to be able to buy some of my own things as well, so I can relate a bit to your desires. Press on... :)

Go for it Lalita. It is not difficult to imagine what you will be in ten or so years from now. With a 'get up a give it a go' attitude like you are blessed with you can only become a huge success at something. Mind you, the 'powers that be' that you have lambasted from time to time might need to put some fences up. Keep up your good work. You deserve to win.

You are an amazing kid Lalita. Not too many your age with the gumption you have and the ability to take on what ever comes your way. I have seen so many beautiful comments by you on other channels... As gentle as a lamb... I have also seen crushing and pounding comments from you in defence of your friends.. The tiger lets loose and you eat those who dare insult or criticise those you care about. A true friend indeed.
