emmitt was the mariano rivera of football. he was the greatest closer in the game. the cowboys would build an early lead, and then feed emmitt the rest of the day. emmitt was an every down back with awesome ability on goal line and short yardage situations. he also very rarely fumbled the ball. he is the main reason that the cowboys never lost leads in their glory years. field position, time of possession, scoring tds instead of fgs, winning turnovers, emmitt was huge in all of stats.

i am old enogh to remember being a fan in the late 60s and have been a diehard Cowboy fan ever since. You are exactly right. it is kinda like the HOF. They don't want to give the Cowboys the respect they deserve because they are jealous of all them winning seasons. Emmitt is the man. Great vid bro. Roger was a great Q.B also. AMERICAS' TEAM.

The thing that peeved me on the whole NFL Network thing is the panel was those who cover the Cowboys from what I believe. If the guys who "watch" the Cowboys can think of 4 guys over Emmitt, I must be crazy.
