  • Simple Minds by far.. Mel Gaynor super drummer.. Derek Forbes was the king on the bass.. Charlie a great guitarist and songwriter.. Jim a amazing poet and Singer , dont forget Mick Macneil..

  • @MrDemilord I mostly agree! U2 won in the end. (if there is ever was a real competiton. But I don't care.....its music!

  • There's no answer! Today there still the best 2 live bands in the world.

  • j love both bands...my fav bands of 80's and j still love them! j saw 15 Simple Minds gigs and 12 U2 gigs! Simple Minds are a better live band!Mel gaynor was(is) one of the greatest rock drummer ever,and Mick Mcneil was a keyboard/piano Genius!and there's no match between Derek Forbes and Adam Clayton!

    I never known this happen before, but your comment came through whilst I was playing the clip back to see if it was ok and it caused the audio to double! It played normally AND 5 seconds earlier all at once!! Anyway Greetings!!!!
