Most European websites just became illegal due to a new EU law on cookies. We look at what the law means for you, and what you can do about it.

One year on and hasn't the world of web been forced to waste a huge about of time and money on compliance to this ridiculous piece of EU legislation? I remember when this came up in 2001. Jump up politicians and ask some experts next time before jumping at the obsessive whims of the privacy lobby.

Why is good law? Then code this law for me. You need to read about 40 pages about law and then code it with PHP,MYSQL, Javascript ... It's not that easy dude, and what we gain ? - nothing.

Thank goodness for this law. I am SO sick of corporations sticking their hands in my computer's pants every time I go online. 50+ cookies on my machine from just a little browsing is awful.

Every single person I know is really happy about this. Only corporations and their paid shills are against it.
