Neil Young - Fox Theater - Oakland, CA - July 12, 2010

Filmed from Front Row Dead Center! - Thank you for the seat Lisa & Julie! I had just purchased the camera used to film this earlier in the day and the battery got drained as I charged it as I did not realize the camera (brand new to me) did not shut itself off while charging. So, long story short, when I went to check the battery levels before I left for the show I realized that they were drained and I freaked - with barely an hour until the show was supposed to start I called Best Buy where I got the camera and convinced the manager to deliver me a spare battery and charger so I could have more battery life as there was no way I was getting even half the show with the juice in the one battery I had at the time. By the time I got to the show I was rushed and anxious and it took a long time to get calm enough not to shake my hands a bit while filming - it does get better throughout the night. Lastly but not least - I came home after the show and found out that the show was recorded in regular definition (on an HD camera) - too bad it was not filmed in HD....
