How would he know buildings were going to collapse? No steel building has ever collapsed, so how would he know?

Many of the Architects and Engineers involved with the design and actual construction of the towers knew they were going to collapse as soon as they learned that the planes hit. Widespread fire after the impact from the planes is at a much greater scale then a average office fire which firemen have enough time to evacuate and maintain the fire. Joists in the core that were weakened by the fire cause the initial fall and all joists on each for below cant handle the momentum causing domino effect.

In a later interview (which is on youtube), Rudy explained that it was his understanding that the building would "collapse" in stages over a long period of time (6 to 10 hours), but he didn't realize that the towers were gonna "implode" at free-fall speed. Does that explanation sound reasonable? I don't know, you be the judge.

Although it's interesting how he uses the word "implode"......yes, that's exactly what happened ---- It imploded. and buildings don't normally do that.

@HoneySiegalSurvivor He tried to get $7 billion, he claimed 3.5 per act of terrorism (an obscene amount of $), but he was only awarded $2.7 billion of the 7. It's no less appalling though. He took out a 99 year lease a couple months before 9-11 and specifically had an "acts of terrorism" clause written in. On top of that, he admitted that they "pulled" WTC 7. Silverstein is so obviously involved.
