Claver is wrong. MLK was NOT a republican but for argument sake lets say he was a republican. Judging someone on their political party has nothing to do with judging them by their CONTENT OF CHARACTER or MESSAGE. The modern republican party does not have the same CONTENT OF CHARACTER or MESSAGE as the republican party in the past.

What people oppose was a law that attempts to bring righteousness. It open the state to be the mandate equality! Chiina mandates equality! Everyone is the same! Communism mandates equality! Plus we see how the law was Hijacked by gays, abortionist and betrayed MLK jr. He never died to make moral wrongs a right. Most conservatives believe each heart needs to change not State mandating equality! this is what they opposed.
