Lt. Col. Raymond Trejo Rivas was my uncle. Only met him a few times, but he was a great man, very fun top. I had my other uncles over for the 4th and them and my dad would talk about their youth and Raymond would come up in conversation and they'd rejoice in stories of how silly and playful my uncle was when he was younger and how dedicated and how proud he became as he got older. I'm ashamed I never got to see him again before his death.

Capt Gramith and Capt McDowell, It was my pleasure to work side by side with you... state side and in the AOR. When I hear the SOUND OF FREEDOM everyday at work from those F15s... I think of your smiles....and memories that will never be forgotten! You both are truely "WORLD FAMOUS"! All my love and prayers to your families for the rest of my days!

May we always remember and honor what these men have given up in serving our Nation. To the families and friends, no words or videos can comfort but they should know there are many who care about them and their terrible loss.
