china is trying to reach out to global community by hosting an event in their house.just like when you visit someone's house and you complain about their house rules. its ethnocentrism! only the sith deals in absolutes! u can not disrupt an event, rights of others to push for your own rights. infringement of others rights will not get you your rights. tibetans gone down the wrong path if they dont change course they will eventually suffer. What is independence when their is no food?

So the Chinese run the torch into a warehouse in San Francisco, and then secretly take it away from the crowds to shoot false footage of a "harmonious" relay, (complete with runners waving to no one) and then just leave thousands and thousands of proud Chinese people, who endured hardship and expense to attend ceremonies, standing like fools waiting for a torch that never arrives?

I won't be watching the Olympics either.
How can anyone know if what we are watching is true or staged?
