No one said you don't know what they are, but since you put yourself out there. When was the last time you used a floppy disk, help one, depended on one and have a computer with a floppy disk drive?

It's a simple video made for some people smile, laugh or be a little awed at things they forgot. No one is trying to act all high and mighty, so get off your high pony.

You know your classroom needs a major tech update when everything runs on Windows 95, and your teacher puts the computer work on floppy disks. There's even a DOS computer in there!

I came in on the tail end of their usage its one thing to know what it is. i know what an 8track is but it hardly affects me at all. Its one thing to know and another to have seen how tech has progressed through the years. where one 3x5 inch floppy disc from the 80s-90s could not hold half of ONE average length mp3 where as the average smartphone today could hold 1-2 thousand easily with a fingernail sized 4gb sd card. and sd cards have been around for a while. its amazing to think back
