@duramaxjad4 I'm glad you filled me in on the fact that 8 cylinder engines make more torque than 4. I had no idea.

Another fact is; even the 15 year old 1.6L b-series made more than 90 ft-lbs of torque at 8,000. Regardless, I never denied that "there's no replacement for displacement." The fact you like American muscle has no bearing on you being a "real car guy". A guy driving a Honda can make the exact same statement.

@puchomoreno well not really my bros e36 318is is doing about 30mpg and my e30 325is is doing 40mpg, so 190bhp from mine 150 from his. and mine is the better handling car. i also have 220lbft of torque and i have left many a well tuned car sitting on and off track. really it all depends on your driving style, the cars origions, intention, and age (older cars are generally not that economical). AND at the top end a NASCAR will dominate a F1 car. A larger engine has more usable power than.....

@duramaxjad4 Smaller engines are better.. In a fuel economy/power ratio.. You can have 200 HP in a 2.0 liter engine, or 350 in a 4.8+ liter engine..

Plus in the end, with all the beatifull gearboxes around, power is wat you need.. Not "extreme torque"..

All the work you can in the least time..

By the way, thats the reason why a F-1 car would beat the hell out of a nascar car..

F1 cars r fucking 10 and 12 cylinder engine that rev at 19000 rpms... but 4 bangers are light and quick where v8 meatheads are line racin as fast as possible and have a tendency 2 flip so wat u get is for ur style of racing... closed minded fucks ur all the same
