@3dimensionalJoe Ftw my ass! DT are doing almost only "introduction to..." and those so called advanced are so lame that an intermediate would yawn all the duration of the tutorial. So called tutorial, I beg your pardon.

Hi, I juste finished modeling a highpoly model in mudbox 2012 and I want to texture it using photoshop but I accidently pressed create UVs And now when I unwrap my model (an alien that has almost the same shape has a human body) It shows squares except of the basic UVs, Is there a way I can fix this? because I can't texture my model using these UVs because they are not well placed. Is there a way to fix this because I don't want to start my model over! Thank you so much for your time!

@MischievousKittie what you mean with pre adult mudbox? autodesk is offering free use for students if's that the question. if you mean an exclusive version show the kid the original version. . thats no problem, just pratice

@AN7HRO You can make a high poly version then reshap on a modeling software(like maya) and using the low and high poly versions bake a normal map and apply on the low poly, thats how its usually works

Are there any project files associated with this tutorial series?

Do you do a pre adult version Mudbox? I have a 12 year old who has HUGE interest in designing, creating, and building I want to get him some software/programs that will encourage his natural interest.

@AN7HRO technically yes, although the models generated from mudbox are super highres they can be used to generate a very nice bump/height map for your lowpoly version of the model.

@AN7HRO if you can extract them.. then yes..
Digital tutors ftw
