man dis war was crazy im an 11 year old liberian and that charles taylor is so dumb.man wat were they fightin for.they fight in cuz the native liberians were treated badly and americo liberians didnt think they should be treated like the rich and classy people.so thats why and not many people no what the war the war was about.some of the rebels had there own reasons besides killin peple

That's his point of view. One of the many dimensions of such conflicts is mere survival for the combatants. If there was "peace" they wouldn't have the jobs or education or family support. They'd probably get locked up for stealing. What can they do? Beg? I get what he is saying. It is complex.
