Hosted by Wake County Economic Development, the Raleigh-Wake County Business Feature is a new video series profiling locally-based companies that continue to grow and remain highly competitive during the nations current economic slowdown. The first profile features the Raleigh-based company Red Hat, Inc. Amidst the current economic downturn, Red Hat has continued to represent one of North Carolinas most successful and fastest-growing companies, remaining competitive in its market sector worldwide.
The video features interviews with Tom Rabon, vice president of Corporate Affairs, and DeLisa Alexander, senior vice president of People and Brand. The Red Hat interview addresses topics such as: recent growth of Red Hat and the role that Wake County has played in its success, the innovative workforce in Wake County and its impact on the local economy, and strategies WCED has employed to ensure that the regions economy remains strong during the economic downturn.
