These shots were taken during the 2009 season. The first was Gina (a 23' Newbridge Voyager) leaving Lamlash under power due to the lack of wind. The final shot was of Petra (a Maxi 27') having left Rothesay heading towards the Cumbrae Gap before entering more open water and proceeding down to Troon.

Hi Mark,
Yep!.... it’s thoroughly enjoyable in a 3-4, 5-6 is good for racing but not all the time when on passage, but a 7 with my small yacht is about a much as I want to endure. Anything above that is a “no show” and if we get caught-out in anything above a 7 then I’ll run for cover.
