Hi..I hope this helps some of the other newbies out there..I have been trying different adhesives for about the past year and have finally found one that seems to be working..I think the key is to try on of each different type of adhesives, i.e..acyrlic, silicone, waterbased, hardbond, spirit gum..there are different brands but what I have found is they all basically will work the same..its about which type will work for you..here's a great website that has the biggest variety of adhesives..hope this helps!!! Thanks for watching!!!

  • @ ThePanther08: I really like the TDi and Safe Grip..I'm like you I sweat in my head and my skin is oily...lol..and I workout which doesn't help..what I like about these two glues is that if they get wet..they dry up the same as when you put it on..clear...so what I do is if I know I'm going to be working out or it's really hot..I wear a headband..it keeps it tight and somewhat dry..

  • ur little assistant is adorable

  • Thanks..she'll love to hear that!!!

  • oh and what wig do you have on i like it

  • great vid, have you tried supertape? This will be m first trying a LFW and I just received some (still waiting for my unit from Apex ordered 10/26)

  • I have used supertape and a few others I don't remmeber. Supertape didn't really give me a good hold, but it was on of the easiest to remove..hope this helps

  • hello darling i work with lace wigs 20 hours a day let me give you a secret for oily skin and sweaty scalp use a spray desodorisant on your hair on your scalp after you wash and condition your own hair it wont damage anything but will incraese the hold :) water base glue is the best and dont use 99 percent alcohol cause it iritated the skin even if you dont feel it so the skin will react with any glue badly

  • I've used endure bond broke me out pulled my hair out developed scabs in bk of head....I've used silicone base adhesives but my skin is excessively oily and I only get a few hours wear I've used spirit gum it's mild but app doesn't last long ..funny thing is I love endura bond the app last a few days with no movement but I think my skin is sensitive to it......any suggestions?

  • I have an idea, and i will try it tomorrow..It may sound crazy, but has anybody ever used regular white school glue to attach ur unit? i have extremely oily skin and i've tried everything to bond my unit...nothing sticks. however, i did a halloween costume this year where i used white school glue on my face...non-toxic and i didn't break out..and the bond of the prosthetic was incredible! i'm going to wash my unit and try it tomorrow. i hope it works! elmers is like 99 cents!!

  • I have very oily shin and I do sweat. I have gone through numerous adhesives, inside 30 minutess still have not bonded. Thank you and your assistant for the great tips.

  • thanx'

  • Thank you Lady! This was needed.. I AM SICK OF THAT DAMN MESSY ULTRA HOLD AND AFRAID ONE DAY I AM GOING TO GET ONE OF THOSE STRINGS OF GLUE IN MY EYE.. So I am searching for a new adhesive for when I get paid next week so I am doing my research. Will try TDI and Safe grip. I am trying to take off 20 pounds and will need to work out at least 5 times a week and I do not like messing with my head more than once a week..like who has time? So thanks!

  • @KidLilly Yes the blue bottle which is Safe Grip is sold in the local beauty supplies, you may want to check around, but the only place where I live is sold in the african american beauty supplies/salon.

  • Thank you so much for this awesome video. I really needed to see this and I am glad you made this. Your daughter is beautiful. I initially thought she was your sister, because you look like you are about 18 years old in this video, but when I went to your channel, I saw the video you did for April's contest. Too cute. You look great!!!
