How can we trust Jan Brewer?

http://TerryGoddard.com Back in June, Jan Brewer made multiple false statements about beheadings in Arizona. These fear-mongering comments hurt Arizona as we were already struggling with high unemployment and lagging tourism. Now that her debate-night debacle has revived these irresponsible allegations, Brewer is backtracking and claiming she meant the beheadings were in the "border region" rather than Arizona. Once again, Jan Brewer is not telling the truth.

I am an Arizona voter who recently voted for Jan. Yes, Brewer has misspoken and given bad interviews... people have bad days. Yes, she has tackled controversial issues, which has inspired animosity among many. BUT, agree with her or not, Brewer defends the constitutional rights of her constituents against the federal government, which is totally out-of-control and desperately needs to be reigned-in. I think she deserves credit for that. Personally, I am grateful to her, and proud of her.
