  • I am actually proud (I know this is foolish) that Erik Satie was French...we have our national Chopin. The Gnossiennes 1 and 5 are my favourite of course but the Gymnopedies are really good also.

  • @philipchek absolutely agree with philipchek. should be all about misery. i see satie locked up in his paris apartment, staring at a photo of the girl who left him and drinking absinthe. And think this ciccolini interpretation must be wrong. Feels jerky in a way that doesn't fit the impressionists. Others play with more smoothness.

  • The only thing why I don't like the video is because it takes focus from melody... I enjoy just listening and the melody takes me to unknown places...

  • Is nachtvlinders een film, of zo? Het is een mooi woord, op zich: "nachtvlinders".
