The Distillery Arts Outreach partnership cooked up Blackout Stew at Emily Carr PS Toronto directed by Anne Barber with musicians Edgardo Moreno and Gurpreet Chana and visual artists Brad Hartley, Charmaine Lurch and Allycia Uccello. We were joined by 12 remarkable York University teacher candidates and the staff and talented students of Emily Carr PS. Site coordinator was Amy Barnes. Funding provided by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Enjoy this video clip by Ryerson University film student Sam Rosati! The Distillery Arts Outreach is a special partnership of arts groups Inner City Angels, Mariposa In The Schools and Prologue to the Performing Arts that explores rich topic interdisciplinary arts education projects over eight Saturdays with grade 4 to 6 students in Toronto priority neighbourhood schools.
